Recherche d'heritiers en Europe et en Amerique du Nord - Tracing heirs from Europe and North America

The mission

The inheritance genealogist determines the entitlements of heirs and to locates them in order to allow the notaries (and lawyers in the case of Canada and the United States) to settle an estate. His work is certified and he assumes full responsibility for his actions. He may also confirm the devolution of an estate which is uncertain.

The genealogist is duly appointed by law professionals to conduct these investigations. The searches carried out by the genealogist in order to establish the genealogical tree of a deceased person, also called "decedent", may involve very complex procedures and require numerous trips abroad.

The genealogist represents a privileged partner to the lawyers and notaries. He is in charge of informing the entitled parties, of their rights of inheritance (unbeknownst to them) to an estate which was initiated without their knowledge.

The fees received by the genealogist are established according to the complexity of the files assigned to him.

Heirs may rely upon conscientious genealogists who will do their utmost to represent them during the settlement process. Law professionals who use the services of an inheritance genealogist mastering the various research and tracing tools are assured of an accurate devolution of estate.
